I'm not sure whether this is a phishing ad in gmail or a courtesy notice which went bad (mousing over the links doesn't let you copy them or see where they go, which breaks expectations for something that looks like text with a hyperlink):


My big complaint (assuming that it's a genuine message) is the conflict with their other UI conventions, notably Google search (paid/ad results in faintly shaded bars at the top, above the "real" results):

(they are shaded in roughly the same color, though the Google search one is quite faint with some monitor settings)

The broken English in the gmail example makes it worse- if this really is from Google it would make sense for me to request that they send password reset info to another private email address I control, but it makes no sense to tell me that "you can send password reset info to..." because if I had the info I wouldn't need to send it to my own email address, and if I didn't then asking myself for help would not be likely to lead to a useful resolution.
